Plot summary: Barnaby encounters ex-colleague Jack Colby whilst attending a farewell presentation for ex-criminal Ronnie Tyler in Midsomer Holm, a safe haven for reformed offenders. Jack is administrator at the home and Gina, his wife, is known for helping reformed criminals. They live with Lord Holm at Holm Manor. The following morning Jack's body is discovered bludgeoned to death and Barnaby has to, once again, delve into the past to solve this crime. Midsomermurders.org
